Sharing quality content across your social channels is one of the most important things you can do to engage your audience and attract new followers.
it’s about engaging with people and providing content that will help your followers and give them something they’ll actually want to read.

WHAT IS A CONTENT CALENDAR?
Is exactly what it sounds like – a calendar full of your content. This will include blog posts, social media posts, promos, emails, other people’s content, and more. It is a tool that allows you to organize your content and schedule your day-to-day posting for social media campaigns in advance.
What do I post on Social Media?
This is the most common question people ask when they get started building their business online. It can seem quite overwhelming when you first start out.
This is where people overthink the process. It doesn’t have to be complicated because there is truly an unlimited amount of content you can share.
Just to name a few, you can post expert advice, articles, images, videos, quotes, stories…and of course: BUSINESS PROMOTIONS.
First you must have to have a STRATEGY in order to leverage the content for your business. Strategy is an outline of your key business and customer needs, plus a detailed plan for how you will use content to address them.

Strategy + Consistency = You’ll be on the right path to success.
Organize your content into
Content buckets are basically your post categories. You fill up these buckets with your content, then dump them into your calendar. They are going to be different for everyone – here are some suggestions:
- Blog post
- Tips & Tricks
- Contest & Giveaways
- Other people’s content
- Inspiring content
- Everything else
- Mix and match & set a schedule
- This can also help you to delegate to your VA.

Once you have your content in place, creation and scheduling will be a breeze. This will make the process so much easier because you will then, know exactly what types of content you will be feeding each day to your audience.

There is no one size fits all solution when it comes to deciding on your posting frequency.
The frequency is heavily dependent on the social media platform type. For example, posting 10 times on Twitter per day would be fine as opposed to posting 10 times on Instagram on a single day. Posting twice would probably be a good number for Instagram.
As far as frequency, I have heard many different recommendations. There really is not one specific answer for what will produce the best result. This is what I have always gone by:
FILL IN YOUR CALENDAR!
Once you have decided what you are going to post each day and how many times you will post it, it is time to fill in your calendar. My calendar usually looks something like this:
Assign your content buckets to each platform at the scheduled posting times.
Repurposing your existing content is a MUST. By doing this, it gives birth to new content without having to deal with the pressure of creating new content every day.
Planning and organizing your content will help you in the following ways:
Plan out your content in advance
Allows you to stay organized and productive
You save valuable time so you can focus on income producing activities.
Schedule strategically to see what is working and what needs to be tweak.
